Within the service catalogue of ETS, Business & Finance Services organisation is responsible for the management and delivery of Finance Services globally, both through third -party outsourced providers and through in -sourced operations . The R2R service line is responsible for the End to End General Accounting processes from Transacting to Reporting, including the maintenance of procedures and standardised chart of accounts, journal entry processing, inter -company accounting and account reconciliations, fixed assets, project cost and inventory accounting, tax accounting services, compliance and controls, month end close process, financial consolidations and financial statements (excluding group level ), financial reporting of all different business units to the Centre .
BFS will be responsible for providing up to date, and relevant financial information to its customers through various channels to provide relevant, accurate and timely reports on accounting processes, and accounting information to deliver the reporting of the Group accounts; and the provision of relevant performance metrics to assist the R2R Operations directors in its development and delivery of excellent services to its customers .
Subject matter expertise for specific accounting process and country issues;

Accurately perform accounting operations;
Work as an integrated team with the service provider staff .
Demonstrated capability to perform in a highly qualified and motivated team and to take responsibility for the end -to -end financial accounting process for the countries serviced; and to provide subject matter expertise for one or more country specific skills related to language or accounting knowledge .
Track record of excellent service delivery .
Co -operates with dedicated country or regional Treasury, Pension, Tax and Legal departments for the implementation of initiatives and changes in their respective fields . This may include Finance business partners and Statutory Reporting teams in the countries .
Provide subject matter expertise for specific sub -process within the harmonized operating model, and support further harmonization of these processes with the countries and the service provider .
Implements and ensures standardization and best practice from other jurisdictions to maximize efficiency and load balance .
Ensures accounting rules are properly applied for both management and financial accounts in compliance with corporate standards .
Identifies key issues and delivers efficient responses through implementation of the right procedures . Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment .
Acts as internal consultant to satisfy stakeholder expectations . Knowledge of a second jurisdiction is beneficial . Maintain formal relationship with shared services provider, Business units and Corporate Tax .
Consistently work to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement to achieve harmonisation and standardisation .
To accurately perform accounting operations in order to meet a customer request following the appropriate work instructions .
To adhere to the departmental service levels and the factors that affect service, providing a high standard customer service .
Apply the work instructions accurately to comply with the financial systems
