Global Acquisition Analytics Team: The Acquisition analytics team is responsible for driving new acquisitions for customers through various channels.
Team specializes in Marketing Analytics, Decision and Data Science, Analytical Capability, Big Data Algorithms and Machine Learning.
This team is responsible for end to end Customer Acquisition Decision Science which includes development of response, behavioral and CMV models.
Team member will also be responsible for developing and exploring machine learning algorithms on Big Data platform to solve the business problems.
The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams like product strategy, marketing, technologies and external partners to make full use of Amex Data asset to convert in products to drive more revenue.

Qualifications Post graduate (M.Tech / MBA / M.
Stats / MA Economics) with 0-3 years of work-experience in analytics industry.
Expertise in application of analytics (applied statistics / quantitative methods) for solving business problems.
Competency in standard data mining and customer segmentation techniques is also desirable e.g.
Decision trees, Clustering or Neural Networks kNN, GBM etc Expertise in an analytical language Python, R, or the equivalent), and preferably experience with databases (Hive, SQL, or the equivalent) Prior experience working with very large datasets using Big Data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or the equivalent) Experience working in UNIX/Linux and distributed computing environments Expertise in project management involving multiple stakeholders Understanding consumer behavior based on browsing devices i.e.
Mobile, PC, Tablet etc.
and then optimize journey for these.
Leverage advanced analytical skills to develop solutions such as recommended engines, dynamic content on our websites based on visitors browsing behavior.
