ICFAI Distance Education Course

ICFAI University (Tripura) has launched a self-study, distance education programme for aspiring chartered financial analysis (CFA).

The course is designed for people looking for career opportunities in the investment industry. Graduates from any discipline are eligible.

Students with professional qualifications such as CA, CWA, M.S. (Finance), M.A. (Economics), M.S. (Accounting), M. Sc. (Stats) and MBA (Finance) are eligible to get waivers from some papers of the CFA course.

Promising Careers

The CFA course may be completed in 12 – 18 months, depending on waivers. ICFAI vice-president Sanjay Ramachandani said trained CFAs have promising careers in portfolio management, equity analysis and valuation, debt analysis and valuation, credit, rating, wealth management and financial research.

Examinations are conducted four times a year in test centres all over India.
