Admissions Modalities of 2-year MBA,

1-year Executive MBA, 4-year Ph.D.  and the 5-year

Integrated MBA-Ph.D. Programs are briefly given

Eligibility Criteria

The MBA Program

A bachelor’s degree with medium of instruction as

English, from any discipline, with 50% and above

as calculated by respective University.

Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree

course are also eligible to apply, provided they

complete their graduation requirements including

practical examinations / viva / assignments before

April 30, 2010.  Such applicants will have to produce

a certificate to that effect at the time of admission.

For any extension of this deadline, the applicants

should apply separately, giving the schedule of their

graduation examination.  Extension may be granted

on the basis of the circumstances of the case. The

admission of applicants will however, remain

provisional until they produce marksheets and a

degree certificate establishing their eligibility.

Applicants who are appearing for backlog

examinations of previous terms/semesters /year after

April 30, 2010 are not eligible. The last date for

submitting the proof of graduation is

October 01, 2010, failing which the provisional

admission will automatically stand cancelled.

Executive MBA Program

A bachelor’s degree with medium of instruction as

English, from any discipline, with 50% and above

as calculated by respective University and 3 years

or more of executive level work experience after

graduation as on May 01, 2010. Age should be more

than 25 years as on May 01, 2010.

Ph.D. Program

Candidates having 60% and above marks in a two

year postgraduate degree/diploma in Management

are eligible for admission into the program.

Candidates with professional qualifications like

CFA, CA, ICWA, and CS are also eligible.

Integrated MBA-Ph.D. Program

A bachelor’s degree with medium of instruction as

English, from any discipline, with 60% and above

as calculated by respective University. Students in

their final year Bachelor’s degree course are not

eligible to apply.

For all the Programs

For the purpose of determining eligibility (for all the

programs) based on aggregate percentage of

marks, the procedure used by the respective

University in award of the degree will only be taken

into consideration.  All applicants should have

completed a minimum of 15 years of regular

education  (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). Applicants

who have completed their graduation on a one-time

sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible.

Applicants not meeting the eligibility criterion of

English medium have to submit the TOEFL/NELT/

IELTS scores by May 01, 2010.

IBSAT

/GMAT

All the applicants seeking admission into the MBA/

Executive MBA/Integrated MBA-Ph.D. Programs

have to appear for IBSAT 2009. IBSAT is an

Aptitude Test. IBSAT is of two hours duration and

consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT will

be held on December 27, 2009 at 10 a.m. at 123 Test

Centers all over India.
