Do you know why different Car Agency quote you different rates for same type of car?
Let me give you an example!
Suppose you are coming from Delhi in a Flight for some work in Kolkata and you searched on google to get one contact of any rental agency and you definitely got one. Then you called Mr. X of M/S ABC Car Rental ask him that you need a Indigo for 3 days while you were staying in Kolkata. He gave you Rs. R/KM. Either you satisfied with this rate or called another agency to cross check. The other agency will quote you Rs. S/KM. The rates for Tata Indigo (full AC) varies from Rs. 6.5/KM to Rs. 15/KM, standard rate in Kolkata is Rs. 12/KM.

This happens due to commission of varies agencies involved in a order you placed, since most (95%+ in Kolkata) agencies don't have their own cars, they either get it from other agency or directly from owner. The more agencies got involved in this loop, the more charge you have to pay.
So, don't get misled by the agencies, direct call the owners or agencies which have their own cars.
