Business Analyst – Analytics Division

Job Description:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing excel based logical models that the retail clients will be able to use to increase their productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind with an expertise in using MS-Excel, MS-Office applications and some level of expertise in statistical analysis. In addition the candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate should also be detail oriented organized and reliable.

A strong performer in the analyst role is expected to grow in the role of a consultant who will eventually devise strategies for entrepreneurial ventures.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop product category structures to enable accurate demand modeling

·         Develop Excel based analytical models for clients

·         Assist in profiling and prioritizing new market opportunities

·         Participate in team meetings to provide ideas to achieve the goals of the clients

·         Work with developers to create applications that will address retail clients

Minimum requirements:

·         College degree in business or marketing with 6 months to 2 years of experience

·         Expertise in Using MS-Excel and other MS-Office applications

·         Detail oriented and able to work well independently as well as a part of a team

·         Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in English

·         Technical skill like C, java is desired

·         Expertise with the use of Visual Basic/ Sales or SAS is desired
