About the Course:

Markup Accounts and Taxation Course is a focused course for career development of accountants. Dear student, believe us, you have a rare opportunity to learn so many things which you must know as an accountant.

Course contents:

1. Qualities of a good Accountant. Debit Credit - practical approach. Commercial knowledge regarding Proprietary firms, Partnership firms and Companies.

2. Comprehensive knowledge of accounts, allied laws and Schedule VI requirements with reference to about 60 account groups and 300 account heads.

3. Compliances relating to Receipts and Payments of Loans and Deposits. Guidelines for Cash handling and Bank payments. Bank Deposits and Bank Loans.

4. Import Export accounting. Purchase Sales accounting systems with reference to Accounting, Sales tax and Schedule VI requirements.

5. Service tax credit and Cenvat credit - Concepts and accounting methods. VAT rules, VAT returns and VAT audit requirements.

6. Reconciliation of purchases with stock records, Reconciliation of sales and cenvat credit with excise records and quantitative information for Schedule VI purposes.

7. Work-in-progress calculations.

8. Gratuity Rules, Bonus Rules, Bonus set on set off working.

9. Fixed assets schedule, Fixed assets register and Depreciation workings for accounting and tax purposes.

10. Company law returns and statutory registers.

11. Income tax deductions and disallowances, Computation of income, Interest workings u/s 234A/234B/234C, TDS and Deferred tax.

12. Preparation of final accounts, various details and statements.  Finalization of accounts.

Course duration:

      It is a course of 30 weeks (7 Months)

Course fee:

      Option 1:  Rs.2,000 at the time of admission + Rs.1,300 per month for 5 months = Rs.8,500/-

      Option 2:  Rs.3,000 at the time of admission + Rs.2,500 per month for 2 months = Rs.8,000/-

Course timings:

       Sunday Morning Batch in Mulund      10 am to 1 pm

       Sunday Afternoon Batch in Mulund      3 pm to 6 pm

       Saturday Evening Batch in Dadar          5 pm to 8 pm
