Site Engineer – 2 Nos - Maldives
Site Engineer (Salary 600.oo -700.oo USD/month) * can go upto USD 900
if
very experienced*
1. B.E/M.Tech Civil with minimum 2 years
experience in the design of
multistoried buildings.
2. Able to
handle all site supervision activities.
3. Able to prepare
schedules for projects and checking contractor’s
bills.
4. Abe
to use MS Office, MS Project and Design Software’s.
5. Daily
supervision of the site with daily progress reporting
6. Coordinating
with the Project Manager in Male’ office
7. Checking and approval of
on-site work
8. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly progress
reports
9. Undertake site meetings with Contractor to solve
problems
10. Clarification of construction documents, specifications and
drawings as
and when required.
11. Ensure that construction goes
according to the contract document and
work schedule.
12. Ensure that
environmental management plans are adhered to during
construction
phase.
13. Inspect the quality control tests carried out by the
Contractor and
ensure that quality is controlled to the level specified in
the contract
documents.
14. Carry out the final inspection of the
fully completed project with a
representative from the respective Client and
prepare a Project Completion
Report
15. Check and approve/verify
as-built drawings
16. Verify setting out of structures and leveling of
the site by the
contractor
17. Surveying of the sites
18.
Checking drawings with quantities and ensuring that the calculations
are
accurate for the work
19. Overseeing the selection, requisition of
materials and plant for use in
the construction
20. Advice Contractor
on planning the work and efficiently organizing the
plant and site facilities
in order to meet an agreed programmed deadlines
21. Advice Contractor on
supervising and monitoring the site work force
22. Liaising with any
consultants, Contractors/sub-contractors engaged in
the project
23.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems
that may
arise
