Candidates Required for Lahore based Manufacturing Company (Top Senior Positions)ž

Candidates/Applicants can be from any manufacturing industry but from appliances industry would be preferred. Furthermore. 

Experience: 15-18 years

Salary: 170 K – 200 K (Negotiable)

Education: MSc Manufacturing Engineering

Domicile: Preferably Lahore-based as No Accommodatio or TA/DA offered by the company

Job descriptions:

Sr. Manager Development:

1.       Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame.

2.       Confer with production personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve day-to-day process problems.

3.       Receive product scope from Marketing Department and distill it into a set of features that will benefit the customer in the most efficient way.

4.       Conduct market surveys along with Company’s Marketing and Sales team in order to ascertain future development plans and strategies.

5.       Work closely with Marketing Manager to reveal unmet consumer needs and to assist in identifying new product concepts.

6.       Identify new trends in style and fashion and implement where appropriate to the brand.

7.       Create conceptual designs of our new products, considering factors influencing product design such as cost, safety, fashion trends, ergonomics, environment and business feasibility.

8.       Establish Design Trend Data, Upgrade current designs and optimize product design objectives, while considering manufacturability, cost and process constraints.

9.       Check, approve and issue all engineering drawings and specification of newly designed products and their parts/component

10.   Coordinate with Company`s Die and Mould Manufacturing and Vendor Development sections for the implementation of issued design/drawings.

11.   Implement modifications/improvements in existing products by issuing Engineering Change Note (ECN) and continuously updating Product`s BOQs.

Sr. Manager Quality Assurance:

1.       To supervise timely management of inspection services to production according to quality assurance system and ensure that the specified product quality standards are met

2.       Managing / supervising new products for process validation and shortcoming

3.       To supervise timely inspection of receiving of receiving materials and components ensuring compliance to specification

4.       To discuss quality related matters with venders and buying section to improve quality level

5.       To work jointly with management in implementation and certification of ISO standards in appliances manufacturing plan

6.       To ensure daily and monthly reports of incoming, in-process and final inspection are prepared

Sr. Manager Foreign Procurement:

1.       Follow up and negotiate price with all suppliers for imported materials.

2.       Material procurement of imported items to meet the monthly and annual production requirement of all products of Pak Elektron Ltd. Also arrange timely and cost effective procurement of items budgeted for trading.

3.       To strive for continuous cost improvement of Raw Materials and Components through effective negotiation and alternate sourcing.

4.       Devise and implement systems and procedures to ensure that under normal circumstances all con all consignments take minimum time to arrive Lahore from Karachi seaport.

5.       Take effective measures to keep all controllable costs in the department 5% below budget.

6.       Ensure that all government permissions, import permit validations and customs documentation is completed well in time.

7.       Coordination with Management Representative with respect to ISO-9000 procedures implementation.

8.       Arrangement of Management Information and liaison with Planning, Production & Finance Department as well as with Banks, Insurance Company, Clearing Agents and Transporters.
