This one has an 1 GB RAM with windows XP Operating systems. I have handled photoshop files of even 1 GB size easily on this system. Its a "Steal Deal " because it comes with an complete care warranty / accidental damage warranty till 2010 end. This means, any trouble either in its performance or replacement of any part , would just require you to give a call to DELL and you will have the technician at your doorstep within next 24 hours even if you are in Timbaktoo. This comes with a 6 cell battery. Along with it is an additonal spare 6 cell battery , multi card reader and external floppy drive that comes handy on your travel. Not to forget, this laptop has some of the best features that one could ask for. It comes with an 8x Dvd RW, 6 USB ports , Ethernet card, Wr-Fi connectivity, Fire Wire ( IEEE 1394) port , whcih very few laptops give as an option.
