HANDS ON WORKSHOP – BEHAVIOUR PROBLEMS IN AUTISM

Dear Friends,

‘SOCH: Shreya - Onus for Child Health, Gurgaon’ invites parents, professionals, students, therapists, educators for a HANDS ON WORKSHOP to discuss specific behaviour problems in children with autism.

We would like to encourage all participants to get a video of any child showing the problematic behaviour and Smita will provide you with a behaviour plan and demonstration by Role Play will be done.

This is an opportunity for all of us to get first hand knowledge of handling a behaviour problem in any child directly in touch or related with us and also from video of others.

·         Presenter Profile: Board Certified Behavior Analyst from University of Texas. Autism Consultant - Consulting with families and children with ASD, drawing Behavior Modification Plans for children & adults with Developmental Disabilities using ABA & Verbal behavior Training for Parents & Professionals since 25 years. Founder of ABA India, bringing the Science of Applied Behavior Analysis in the field of Disability, Education & OBM in India. Involved with starting the first University based course in Applied Behavior Analysis in India.

·         Timings: 9 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

·         Fees: Rs 1000/- (includes Certificate, lunch). Spot fee: Rs 1500/-

·         Private consultations are possible and are charged at 1500/- per hour on 10 Nov 2009
