Adventure Zone, set up in 1998, is one of India’s leading adventure sports and outbound training companies. It is headed by Maj S.R. Roy, a former Commando instructor, trained in various adventure activities.

Adventure Zone has a vast campsite 90 km outside Chennai. Set on 11 acres of beautifully landscaped property in peaceful green countryside, the site is a refreshing escape from the mad rush of the city.

It has an artificial climbing and rappelling wall, obstacle course, shooting ranges, and courses for other funky outdoor games like Caterpillar Race and Pythagoras. Besides adventure activities, you can also enjoy a spot of volleyball, Frisbee or badminton. You can relax around a campfire in the evenings or play antakshari on the lawns.

Accommodation is in spacious air-conditioned Swiss Cottage-style tents with bunk beds and luxurious toilet blocks. The in-house chef is excellent, and serves both veg and non-veg dishes. It’s a perfect “rough it out in luxury” set-up.
