Studio For Movement Arts And Therapies will arranging Contemporary Dance Classes by Brinda Jacob-Janvrin in Bangalore. The dance class will study this most intimate aspect of physical activity, not only to free it but also to develop it further, as a more sophisticated communication through that elusive and intangible medium - creativity. The contemporary dance classes includes training in an organic movement style that works at developing strength, increasing flexibility and finding fluidity of movement. This is an important aspect of the dance class is imaging and visualisations of the firm belief that mental training is as important as the physical discipline, imagery is used to improve alignment and co-ordination, focusing the mind and releasing excess tension. The body, mind and soul are interrelated, Brinda Jacob Janvrin, uses contemporary dance and movement techniques to focus on the holistic development of the individual. They will performing across the world since 1994, Brinda won a fellowship to study dance therapy in 2001. She is also a qualified counsellor on Teaching dance since 1996, Brinda also conducts movement therapy workshops with children with autism, HIV, street and slum children, survivors of breast cancer and various corporate and educational institutions
