Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens presents the 3,000 million-year-old gneiss half the age of the earth. This is as close to the beginning as you get when starting on an exploration of the city's green heritage. You will join with Vijay Thiruvadi at its base to walk around the historic gardens that Hyder Ali set up in the eighteenth century. The walk ands with breakfast at the Mavalli Tiffin Room.
Entry Charges for Adults Rs.495.
