Clickindia is a free, simple, easy-to-use classifieds website that brings together complementing opportunities. Clickindia is a place where people can post their offers and requirements and browse through the same posted by others from their own or from anywhere across India. Clickindia can help you in various ways: find an apartment, look for a job, sell your old car, meet new people who share your interests, and advertise community events such as art exhibitions or music concerts and lot more. All this and more, as per the Terms & Conditions of the site.

Q2. How do I post an ad on Clickindia?
Posting an ad on Clickindia is simple. Just click on Post Your Ad button on top of every page and fill out a simple form. You can follow these simple guidelines to make your ad more effective:
1. Enter your ad title, description and relevant photos, if any. Make sure you enter as much relevant detail as possible. It will ensure that the user who is reading your ad is clear before he sends you an enquiry.
2. Select the product/service location to the nearest possible option available in the website
3. Enter your email address and/or mobile number (this will be used as a reference for you to track /edit your ad later.). Here you can also give your other contact details like phone number, website, and address.
4. Submit your ad and it will be made available to online (subject to moderation, after it is approved by our moderator).

Q3. How much does it cost to post an ad?
Clickindia is a free service and does not charge you any fees to post an ad or an event. Go ahead and make full use of it!

Q4. How do I add a picture to my Ad?
You can add upto 5 photos per ad. All you need to do is click on Browse button next to Upload Image while posting an ad and select the photo that you want. Your photo will be uploaded in a few seconds.

Q5. Can I edit or delete my ad? What is "My Ads"?
Yes, when you post your ad, you will be sent an email containing links to edit or delete your ad anytime. "My Ads" is your personal user account where you can view ads that you have posted. You can even modify/ edit your ad after it goes live. All this can be done by logging on to www.clickindia.com using your Username (your email id or mobile no.) along with your password (sent to you by email) on posting an ad.

Q6. How will visitors interested in my Ad contact me?
There are various contact options that you can choose from. You can have respondents contact you directly through email, mobile, phone, fax, or by post depending on your chosen preferred way to the contact details that you choose to display with your ad. Your email id remains hidden and users will send their responses using an online form that will be diverted to your email.

Q7. How do I search for a particular product or service?
You can search for a particular product or service by selecting the desired category/subcategory in the search box given on top of each page. You can also select category of your choice from the clickindia.com homepage. Once you reach a category page, you can further choose subcategory of your interest to the lowest level to browse through ads in the subcategory.
While on the ad detail page, to view more ads in the same category you can browse by using next/prev. buttons below the ad detail or use 'more ads' link at the bottom of the page

Sorting:Once you have reached a list of desired ads, you will view postings according to the dates they were posted at with the latest ads at the top.

Ad Search: Ad Search by keyword: You can also make use of our search facility by entering a keyword (product/service name, along with a location, if any) that you are looking for.

Q8. How do I reply to an Ad?
Click on the ad title that you are interested in. On the ad details page, you will find a section - 'Send Response'. Fill in the required details like email, name, and message with your contact details (if required) to the seller and submit to email the person who has posted the Ad.
Alternately, you can call/fax/post to the advertisers if they have given any contact details.

Q9. How long does my ad remain posted on Clickindia?
Classified ads stay live for 90 days. However, you can extend your ad by renewing it using "My Ads" section before the expiry of the ad.

Q10. Can I renew my ad after the date of expiry?
An email will be sent to you a few days before your ad expires. You can also go to "My Ads" and renew your ad. If you are unable to find your ad there, you can reach us at info [at] clickindia.com and we'll be glad to assist you.

Q12. How can I post my classified ad on Clickindia.com using SMS/Mobile?
You can SMS us your ad contact at mobile number 9999-699-799, clearly specifying the offer detail, your location and contact details (e.g.: Maruti Esteem 2004 for sale, M Blue, new tyres, done 54,000 km, Preet Vihar, Delhi, sonu123@gmail.com, 01122419192)

Q13. Can I post my classified ad on Clickindia.com using email?
Yes, you can send us your ad content, location and contact details to post [at] clickindia.com along with relevant photo attachment.

Q14. Can I send photo of my product to be displayed with my ad on Clickindia?
Yes, Clickindia allows you to display upto 5 photos per ad. You may send relevant photos using MMS or email as above.

Q15. What does it cost to post an ad on Clickindia?
Posting ads on Clickindia.com is completely free. You may post any number of ads here (subject to approval by the moderator) using our M2I service or through email.

Q17. How will I know if my ad has been posted on Clickindia.com?
Once we receive your SMS/email, your ad will be made live on Clickindia.com under relevant category and location, subject to approval by the moderator.

You may be contacted by our team for clarification/more information on your ad. Once made live, you will be sent a unique Ad ID for your ad along with your password. You are advised to store this information for future reference.

Q18. How can I send photo to go with my classified ad?
You can send up to five photos to go with your ad via SMS/MMS (to 9999-699-799) or email at post [at] clickindia.com. If you have a camera phone, you can use the same to take pictures of your product/self/logo/office and send us via MMS to go with your ad.

Please do not forget to specify the unique Ad ID of your ad (if allotted to you already) or give reference of your ad to help us link.
