The FIFA world cup this June in South Africa is a turning point for Indian company Satyam now owned by Mahindra.

After facing severe controversies and allegations that led to a takeover by Tech Mahindra, Satyam has a new hope in the form FIFA. The company’s software solution developed by a team of around 160 Satyam engineers will now be used in ticketing, accreditation, transport, materials management and overall event management.

The project is important for the company as this will decide the future course of the company and help in getting more outsourcing contracts from U.S. based companies. This project will help bringing in more investors and companies who have lost their trust in the company after Satyam founder confessed to manipulation of funds and fraud.
