On line courses for Coding

There is a wealth of online courses for the tech-minded person interested in learning to code. Most of them are either free or inexpensive.
If the desire is to learn C++, Ruby on Rails, Python or Java, these online options are a way to experiment before you go the full way to complete full training and get a certificate. The veteran programmer can get resources to learn new languages.
The lack of face-to-face interaction with an instructor is a disadvantage. But there are a few online forums such as Google Stack Overflow and others to solve this.
A few are:
Berkeley Webcasts/Courses
The course work is free to access. It has video and audio webcasts of computer classes from 2003 to current semester.
Mozilla’s School of Webcraft
Helpful if you want to start with HTML or if you are experienced and start Python. Several courses run simultaneously and new classes are on all the time.
Google Code University
Courses are free. Has its own forum enabling you to ask questions and get help. Beginners can start with introduction and tutorials..
