Search Ninja is a week old iPhone app (iTunes link) is a fast and easy mobile search for all those who search the web frequently on the iPhone.
The app has been developed by Ankit Ahuja who claims that this would save the users seconds even when they search Google. Customization by adding custom search engine is also possible for the less popular services.
Filling up an application for $0.99 will take you to a simple search page in which you can type your query. Search Ninja would displays Google search suggestions while you type. You can then swipe through results from default search engines. The search engines include Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Amazon, eBay, Wikipedia, Wolfram Alpha and Google Places.
It saves your search history and helps you start from a single search engine to quickly revisit results at a later time.
There are other advantages such as you can horizontally swipe, save and search queries, edit the displayed search engines and add in extra search engine of your choice.
Ahuja intends to update the app by improving the search history’s appearance and add a central repository in future as per suggestions received from the users.
