Metismo acquired by Software AG

Software AG provides business process management solutions after acquiring Terracotta a software developer for application performance has continues with its buying spree by acquiring UK mobile development company Mestimo. 
Mestimo provides design and development of mobile apps- the software converts Java source code to native source code for different mobile devices.
Metismo’s technology allows GPS, audio and video data from mobile devices can be integrated within business applications. Bedrock is a cross platform mobile middleware solution with support for both Enterprise and developer level requirements. Currently Mestimo’s system is integrated with apps for iOS, Android, Nokia Ovi and Blackberry devices.
Software AG has not revealed the deal value of this acquisition it would definitely be in millions of Euros. However Software AG feels that by acquiring Metismo the company would soon become the mobile office for its customers. SoftwareAG’s operations in US contribute nearly one-third of the company’s total revenue and is the largest market presence and R&D location.
