Klout is a start up that measures the influence of social media users. Now they will score LinkedIn into their scoring systems.

Klout now will infer how well can you drive something on LinkedIn, who will be interested and in what manner would you influence them. The Klout begins to compute your score after you have logged into your LinkedIn profile from its dashboard, then it combines your Facebook/Twitter actions and assesses a cumulative score.
Klout CEO claims that LinkedIn has been the most frequent and biggest requests from Klout users. The users value their professional connections as a part of their social lifestyle.
Though the Klout score might sound irrelevant but it is of much use. Brands and businesses are testing this strategy and are likely to provide special perks to high Klout score users. The Klout score can travel along with you and are even attached to your tweets. Thus, it affects how people would perceive your tweets.
