He is the first advanced laparoscopic surgeon in the Marathwada region. He has performed many complex abdominal surgeries laparoscopically like Laparoscopic Pancreatico Jejunostomy, Lap Total Colectomy & Lap Donor Nephrectomy. He is amongst the very few laparoscopic surgeons in India to perform the Total Laparoscopic Pancreatico Duodenectomy, a very complex abdominal surgery.
Dr. Pravin is the only endoscopic surgeon to perform POEM Per Oral Endoscopic Myotomy in the Marathwada region. He is also one of the few advanced therapeutic Endoscopists to have performed more than 3000 advanced Endoscopic procedures like therapeutic ERCP, EUS and Endoscopic Cystogastrostomy. He has published more than 25 papers in National & International journals and has been invited as a faculty guest lecturer. He has done live demonstrations of complex laparoscopic surgeries in National and International conferences. He has been nominated at many National bodies like Governing Council Member of Maharashtra State Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India, Executive Member of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India AMASI. Also, he was the youngest President of ASI of Maharashtra State Chapter. He is also the Chairman of Standard Co-operative Bank Ltd.
