Dear Parents
As an enthusiastic stakeholder aiming at constant betterment, I am always on a lookout for the improvement of my school. I keep looking for opportunities to help the students of my school reach the level which is the same as the students of the best institute/schools across the globe. This endeavour of constant improvement keeps me motivated all the time.
During discussions with peers, educators, and parents, I inferred that most of the prominent schools around the world had common or shared vision. On deep diving further, I also came across the fact that most of the best international schools were following more or less similar practices despite being from different parts of the world. This triggered my curiosity further and I looked for the common aspects that made these schools truly &lsquointernational&rsquo. The first point that I came across is the status of ACCREDITATION. Yes All the top schools had ensured they secure accreditation before anything else. Accreditation is the hallmark of the quality given by an authorized and experienced third party organisation. It indicates that a school is eligible to provide quality education and has the capacity to meet the pre-defined benchmarks.
Similarly, National Assessment and Accreditation Council NAAC guides universities and colleges to operate as per the defined minimum standards and even go beyond these.
Similar to NAAC, there are other organizations also that work for schools. While studying these bodies, I came across the NWAC Northwest Accreditation Commission.
What makes NWAC stand out is that, it is one of the oldest and renowned accrediting agencies headquartered in the USA. It has been guiding schools for a century and has helped them reach the mark of excellence with its support. During my discussion with them, I understood what makes them such a big name. Their approach towards the accreditation process is totally scientific and research-based. It is not easy to meet the levels laid down by NWAC and not many institutions have been able to get accredited by them. Around, 40,000 schools across 85 countries have been able to get accredited by NWAC, owing to its stringent and quality-oriented procedures.
