Job Overview We are looking for a reliable logistics manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. Responsibilities and Duties Required to handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation. Efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services, and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy. Must have a knowledge of national and international import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation. Build relationships with logistics mediators and work closely with package engineers to ensure the protection of freight in transportation. Documentation and organization are important &ndash any changes to operating procedures, prioritization or any problems must be documented and communicated accurately. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency. Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce. Qualifications Graduate/Post Graduate Experience Key skills A logical and systematic approach to work. Good time management ability. The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions. Commercial awareness and numeracy skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a part of the team as well as manage people.
