declared by Govt. of Gujarat.
Dholera SIR a part of Dehli Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC - being developed by Govt. of India), covering around 360 Sq. Km which is even bigger than the world class infrastructure "SENZHEN " -(CHINA). Subsequently about 900 Sq. Kms area will be covered under Dholera SIR. First time in the history, a new “HIGH-TECH” city is planned in a different method by Govt. of Gujarat, much bigger than Singapore. It is about 100 Kms away from Ahmedabad and it will be connected by 6 lane Highway and Metro Rail (high speed railway).
An International Airport is also being developed at Navagam - approx. 80 Km from Ahmedabad. Land for developing the same has already been acquired. Dholera SIR is about 20 kms ahead of proposed Airport.
Dholera SIR is planned at Dholera and surrounding 22 villages. Many giant National and International companies are planning their projects at Dholera SIR.
