Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Crop Protection
Candidate will be looking after the Meghalaya Tripura also will be coordinating with fertilizer nitrition team.
Meeting the dealers as per the schedule, discussing about the sales trend / farmer responses / crop patterns / monsoon conditions and planning the liquidation strategies, gathering insight on the potential customers to plan the promotional activities, discussing about pending payments and expediting collection, educating the dealers on dealer portal and the necessity to adhere to the process suggested there, working with the divisional accounts team to resolve any dealer-related issues on receivable payable, providing timely information on the business risks with any dealer to ASM to avoid any bad debts.
Campaigning and Brand Promotion:
Preparing geography-wise promotional activity planning and getting it approved by the ZM/ASM, meeting the farmers in the villages to conduct farmer education meetings, conducting soil testing, conducting field demos, providing solutions to the farmers (insects related problems faced), maintains relationship with the farmers throughout crop cycle and connecting with new farmers (taking references from existing farmer), initiating jeep campaigns (road shows), wall paintings, displaying hoardings / putting-up stalls during festivals in prominent locations, attending to krushi mela / exhibitions, decorating the dealer shops with brand displays.
Taking-up activities, especially during off-season, that are essential to increase the demand such as customer / farmer mapping to create a comprehensive database and upload it in the CRM database, and use the data to assess the market potential and use it to strategies the sales promotional and demand generation activities.
Work Planning Liaisoning:
Meeting PT on daily basis, planning the field activities based on the weather conditions, sharing with the Fertilizer MOs on the field activities by the competitors, developing rapport with the village leaders, large farmers, and supporting in conducting dealer meetings, meeting the Agriculture Institute Scientists to share the details of new products in Coromandel product portfolio and taking their advice in positioning it with the farmers.
Preparing MIS reports in the standard formats and submitting them on periodical basis, presenting the performance data during monthly reviews, and continuously adhering to the TIME initiative.
