Job Description Summary
1. Position Summary

Responsibility for ensuring the execution of the production planning in terms of quantity, quality , cost , safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and handling of manpower and leading them to ensure best output.

2. Principal Accountabilities %
1. Manufacturing
Ensuring execution of the production plan in terms of quantity, quality, cost, safety and by adhering to good manufacturing practices in the respective shifts.
Use of modern techniques available for trouble shooting, maintain quality norms of company and ensure that there is Zero Non conformity products (NCP)
Ensure the manufacturing process as SOP S and ensuring of optimum utilization of the available resources.
Ensuring smooth flow of work on the shop floor resulting into environment conducive to high productivity.
Knowledge of tracking of various KPI and measures to control the wastages.

2. People Development
Training and Development of shop floor associates i.e. adherence to Training Calendar, Periodical Review of Behavioral Changes, Cross Functional Skills, Capability Reviews, etc.
Ensure timely completion of Performance and Management Process i.e. individual objective setting, coaching, performance evaluation (mid-year, probation, annual appraisals, accelerated growth plan for unsatisfactory cases, etc.) and development planning.

3. Spare Parts and Machine Management
Responsibility for the upkeep of machines and its breakdown/ preventive maintenance
Forecasts of machine spare parts

4. CI Initiatives
Provide and participate all support for running the CI Initiatives and implement changes as may be identified through CI projects. 10

Making optimal utilization of the resources within the given environment.

Appropriate manpower planning and deployment
Foster positive relationship with shop floor associates
Provide leadership and guidance to the shop floor associates in carrying out the Production Plan.
Meeting the plant metrices of Safety, Quality and Productivity.
