We have a job opportunity with one of our clients at Ahmedabad Location.Our Client: Our Client is a global leader in the worldwide healthcare market specializing in Wound Care & related Vascular diseases, Lymphology and non-invasive Orthopaedic products.JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Key Account Manager Reports to: Regional Business Manager Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities/ Business Rationale: - Promotion and Sales of Advance WC & Jobst range of products in a geography- Build and manage trusting relationships with physicians, nurses/health technicians - Sell the concept/ science behind the products and also support use of product to the end user through Promotional activitiesResponsibilities:- Delivers sales in line with company s targets in his/her territory for Therapy Area of responsibility - AWC & Jobst- Builds and manages trusting relationships with physicians, nurses/health technicians with a focus on longer-term relations- Supports use of product to the end user, including interactions with: primary and secondary care physicians, nurses, pharmacists through implementation of various programs - Creates a pre-call plan using SMART objectives & effectively evaluates sales calls and documents post-call- Combines product and therapy knowledge with relevant selling skills during sales call; sells by appropriate use of currently approved sales aids- Effectively handles objections/concerns; consistently gains a logical, reasonable call to action/close on every sales call- Identifies, develops and maintains disease state experts and speakers/advocates/ KOLs- Utilizes innovative approaches and resources to gain access to difficult customers- Continuously strive to gain market intelligence: insights on customer needs, expectations and environmental challenges, shared across in field teams and relevant functions - Differentiates company s value proposition to physicians or other stakeholders assigned Knowledge:- Requires knowledge of therapy/ science of wound care management, - Should be looked at as an expert in Wound management - should have the ability to talk to and engage with Doctors, KOLs, Nurses and other stakeholders on the concept/ science of wound management.
-Experience of working in sales function for at least 2-3 years - Good communication skills - have the ability and confidence to talk about products with Physicians as well as with nurses, KOLS, etc. Preferred Requirements Relevant to the role, but not critical/essential: - A nursing degree or Experience of working as a nurse, using similar product range Problem Solving :- The amount and nature of the thinking required in the job in the form of analyzing, reasoning, evaluating, creating, using judgment, forming hypotheses, drawing inferences and arriving at conclusions.Level of difficulty and problems are comparatively higher and more complex as compared to a General care Rep as the Product range is new. Launching and establishing their need in the market is a more complex job and requires great problem solving ability. However the number of products are limited to 2 currently. Accountability :Along with accountability of meeting sales targets assigned to them with respect to these products, accountability also lies with them on establishing these NEW products in the market by creating their need, generating demand and making them available for the customers.
