Calvit CM Tablet is used to prevent low blood calcium levels for those who do not eat sufficient calcium in their diet. It contains calcium citrate & calcitriol. calcium citrate is used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss (osteoporosis), weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets), and decreased activity of the parathyroid gland (hypoparathyroidism), and certain muscle diseases (latent tetany). Calcitriol is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium and bone disease in patients whose kidneys or parathyroid glands (glands in the neck that release natural substances to control the amount of calcium in the blood) are not working normally.
