Job Description:
Transportation of Bulk Cargo on long haul basis. Regular Inspection of vehicles for mechanical
issues related to safe operation, and manage basic repair work. Working closely with Operation
team in order to plan routes and track deliveries. To follow the safety regulations and standards
regarding size, weight, and break periods as per norms.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure loading and unloading of Cargo is managed in a safe and timely manner.
Follow traffic laws.
Daily Inspect truck/trailers, record issues and highlight to operation team
immediately.
Timely Re-fuel from authorized pumps only and clean vehicle on daily basis.
Report road incidents to the operation team.
Keep an activities log and log hours.
Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel and act as per advice.
Maintain record and receipts for jobs executed en-route as per mechanical team
advice and submit the receipts to mechanical team upon completion of job.
Driver vehicles on planed routes only mentioned in our trip sheet. GPS is installed in
our vehicles for monitoring.
Deliver goods to the client on time.
Interact positively and maintain a positive & co-operative attitude with customers.
Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain
fuel/toll receipts and submit upon trip completion to operation team.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations size, weight, route designations,
parking and break periods as well as with company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions with due care.
Responsible for receiving cargo, parking in appropriate docks, tracking mileage,
and documenting schedules, inventory delivery confirmation, and manifests.
Follow all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standards.
Complete documentation for mileage and cargo keep track of mileage, fuel, and
toll expenses confirm inventory matches shipping documents.
Get the Proof of Delivery after delivering cargo to customer on lorry receipt and
submit to operation team after completion of trip.
Driver should possess Android mobile and should have the knowledge to update
various stages in our Drivers App which gathers details of cargo loaded along with
photos of documents received after loading. The driver shall be trained to use the
app by Our team.

Requirements:
Should be medically fit as per Drivers Fitness Program.
Must have clean driving record.
Minimum Qualifications: HSC, Diploma/Graduate in any stream Preferred.
Tech savvy is a must for Volvo/Scania/LNG powered Trailer.
Candidate should be able to speak & write in Hindi & English.
Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly on national permit.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles.
Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator.
Able to work night, weekends, extended hours, and holidays as needed.
Valid HGV Driving Licence as per CMVR 1989
HGV Driving Licence must be endorsed with Valid Hazardous Goods carrier
facility by competent authority for carrying Hazardous goods.
Valid Hazardous training certificate from authorized center. Hazardous facilitated
Driving Licence & Hazardous training certificate is not required for Non-
Hazardous Goods truck drivers.
Experience 03 years as HGV driver on National Permit with 01 year experience as
Hazardous Goods carrier operator.
Experience in operating Automatic Gear Box: preferably on Volvo, Scania trucks.
Preferred age 25 to 50 years.
Must have valid ID Proof as Adhaar, PAN with matching credentials.
The driver must have bank a/c in any nationalized bank for remittance of
compensation.
The driver has to be verified with police record.
Drivers should have no smoke,
