Required Electrical Engineer - Delhi

Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.

Good knowledge of the major industry or regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline.

Performs assignments, which have clear and specific objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables for an engineering discipline within a global business unit.

Basic skills in oral and written communication.

Performs electrical discipline work which involves the preparation, interpretation, or review of calculations, specifications, electrical layout plans including lighting and grounding, investigations, surveys, structures, systems or equipment with relatively few complex features.

Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL)

Equipment design and development

System design, including concept sketches and layouts

Testing of materials

Guide and organize manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation and testing to assure confirmation with specifications, codes and customer requisites.&

Preparation of specifications and design calculations

Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliers

Preparation or review of engineering studies and reports

Technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering methods and construction methods and materials, and application of computer-aided engineering (CAE)/computer-aided design (CAD) tools to engineering problems.

Experience in preparing technical specifications, datasheets, material requisitions and vendor print reviews for various electrical equipment

Knowledge of SPEL for preparation of load list, MCC schedule etc.

Experience in various electrical layouts like grounding, raceways and lighting etc.

Transmission and distribution of electrical energy and telecommunication.

Knowledge of Building Power Management which includes controlling and monitoring of&

Building s mechanical and electrical equipment such as HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire systems, access control and security systems.

Review of 3D Model in S3D and Autodesk Revit using SPR or Navisworks and be a stakeholder in 30%, 50% and 90% Model Reviews with Clients, Vendors and Sub Contractors.

Knowledge of project controls within discipline.

Preparation or review of material quantity estimates

Uses engineering computer-aided design/computer-aided engineering (CAD/CAE) tools

Prepares letters for replies to vendor correspondence.

Monitors project controls within discipline.

Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepare comments & recommendations.

Assists in the preparation of forecasts, quantity take-offs and change orders.

Broad progressive relevant work experience of over 6 years in basic & detailed engineering preferably in an EPC industry for large industrial plants, power projects, utilities, process plants
