Job Description
Sales and Distribution Management:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives within the assigned area.- Identify and onboard new retailers and wholesalers to expand our distribution network.- Maintain positive business relationships with existing distributors and customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.Market Expansion and Penetration:- Conduct market research/audit to identify potential growth areas, customer needs, and competitor activities.- Introduce our products to new markets and develop strategies to increase market penetration.Sales and Inventory Reporting:- Monitor product sales performance and inventory levels at distribution points.- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, inventory status reports, and market feedback to the sales manager.Order Management:- Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.- Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse team to ensure timely product delivery.Training and Support:- Provide training and support to retailers and distributors to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.- Address any product-related concerns and provide prompt solutions.Sales Targets and Performance:- Set individual sales targets for retailers and wholesalers within the area and monitor their performance.- Take necessary actions to achieve sales targets and address any underperforming accounts.Market Intelligence:- Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities in the distribution business.- Use market intelligence to adapt sales strategies and stay ahead in the market.Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A diploma with relevant experience will also be considered.- Proven experience of around 5 years in sales and distribution, preferably in the distribution business.- Strong understanding of distribution channels and experience managing retailers and wholesalers.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients and partners.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.- Proficiency in using basic computer applications and sales reporting tools.- Ability to travel frequently for business purposes.
