Required Helper - Chennai

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Helper to join our team. The Helper will be responsible for supporting daily operations in the workplace. This includes assisting skilled workers, carrying out general labor tasks, maintaining cleanliness and order, and performing other duties as assigned by supervisors. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, have a positive attitude, and be willing to work in a team-oriented environment. This job is suitable for someone who is honest, punctual, ready to learn, and looking for a long-term stable role. Experience is not mandatory, but a basic understanding of workplace safety and tools is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting Skilled Workers:
   • Help senior staff, machine operators, technicians, or supervisors in day-to-day tasks.
   • Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from the workplace.
   • Follow instructions carefully to assist in basic tasks such as lifting, placing, cleaning, etc.
2. Material Handling:
   • Load and unload materials, products, or supplies manually or using basic handling equipment like trolleys or carts.
   • Pack, unpack, and store goods properly as instructed.
   • Keep track of materials used or moved.
3. General Housekeeping & Cleanliness:
   • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, machines, and tools.
   • Dispose of waste properly and ensure materials are placed in designated areas.
   • Keep the floor free from obstructions to ensure safety.
4. Basic Maintenance Tasks:
   • Wipe down tools or equipment before and after use.
   • Notify the supervisor if any tools or machines are not working properly.
   • Assist in small repairs or routine checks when guided.
5. Follow Safety Guidelines:
   • Always wear appropriate safety gear like gloves, boots, mask, helmet, etc.
   • Be alert and cautious while working with machines or hazardous materials.
   • Follow all company safety rules and report unsafe conditions immediately.
6. Support Daily Operations:
   • Help during dispatch, loading trucks, or arranging stock in the warehouse.
   • Be ready to work in different areas as required (e.g., production floor, storage, delivery area).
   • Cooperate with team members and support them when extra help is needed.
