Required Medical Representative - Kolkata

& We require medical Representative who are well informed about the current market scenario and can adapt to market changes. Should be well versed, polite, smart, witty and diligent enough to make conversation with doctors, retailers and stockiest for promoting their products. Should be well accustomed to work on territory basis and meeting the sales target set by the Organization. Having a two-wheeler is a must. Travelling allowance is provided by company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Promotion

• Promote and market pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, chemists, and hospitals.
• Provide detailed information about the product s features, benefits, dosage, contraindications, and usage.
• Deliver effective sales pitches and product demonstrations to generate prescriptions and support product visibility.

2. Relationship Building

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers in clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.
• Regularly visit doctors and chemists as per the call plan and company norms.
• Act as a trusted resource for physicians and medical staff regarding pharmaceutical products and updates.

3. Sales Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by the Area Sales Manager.
• Identify new business opportunities, including new customers, areas, and product lines.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.

4. Territory Management

• Plan and execute daily fieldwork efficiently, covering assigned areas within the territory.
• Maintain an updated database of doctors, chemists, and stockists in the region.
• Organize and participate in promotional events, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and health camps.

5. Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain records of sales calls, visit reports, prescription generation, and daily activity reports.
• Submit accurate and timely reports to supervisors using digital tools or written formats.
• Ensure stock availability with stockists/retailers and coordinate timely supply through distribution channels.

6. Product Knowledge and Training

• Attend product training sessions and stay updated on scientific developments, new products, and competitive products.
• Continuously improve knowledge about disease areas, treatment options, and the company s therapeutic portfolio.
• Educate healthcare professionals on the correct usage, storage, and safety of medications.
