Key Responsibilities

1. Timely and Safe Delivery

• Pick up items from the designated dispatch point (warehouse, kitchen, or store).
• Deliver packages or products to customers locations within the scheduled time frame.
• Ensure goods are transported without any damage or tampering.

2. Route Planning and Navigation

• Use GPS or route maps to find the most efficient and traffic-free routes.
• Plan daily delivery schedules to maximize productivity and reduce delivery time.
• Avoid traffic violations and follow all local transport regulations.

3. Customer Interaction

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers.
• Greet customers, confirm orders, and deliver packages with care and accuracy.
• Collect payments (if applicable) and issue receipts or acknowledgments.

4. Order Verification and Handling

• Double-check orders before leaving the dispatch point to ensure accuracy.
• Handle fragile or perishable items with special care during transport.
• Report any delivery discrepancies or damages to the supervisor immediately.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain logs of deliveries made, payments collected, and issues encountered.
• Submit daily delivery reports and receipts to the supervisor or logistics team.
• Update delivery status in mobile apps or manual registers, as required.

6. Vehicle Maintenance and Cleanliness

• Ensure the delivery vehicle (bike, cycle, scooter, or company van) is in good working condition.
• Perform routine checks for fuel, oil, tire pressure, and lights.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable.

7. Compliance and Safety

• Follow traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
• Wear company-provided uniforms and safety gear (helmet, gloves, etc.).
• Avoid rash driving or risky behavior on the road.
