Required Electrical Technician - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits, wiring systems, and industrial machinery, such as conveyors, motors, and automation systems.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical components and systems.

2. Installation & Commissioning:

• Install new electrical systems and equipment, including motors, circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and wiring.
• Assist in the commissioning of new machinery or electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.
• Perform electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and load testing, to ensure safe and efficient operation.

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and components to reduce breakdowns and ensure system longevity.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical circuits, equipment, and installations to detect early signs of wear and tear.
• Utilize predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., thermal imaging, vibration analysis) to identify potential electrical issues before they cause significant failures.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and standards, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), arc flash protection, and confined space procedures when working with electrical systems.
• Maintain and update records for maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ensure that all electrical systems meet regulatory and local safety standards, such as NEC, IEC, or IECEx standards, as applicable.

5. Technical Support and Documentation:

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting electrical issues to other team members, including mechanics, engineers, and operators.
• Create detailed reports for electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment replacements.
• Keep maintenance logs, record downtime, and track performance metrics related to electrical systems.

6. Equipment Upgrades and Modifications:

• Assist in the upgrade and modification of existing electrical equipment to improve performance or efficiency.
• Work with engineering teams to implement new electrical technologies or innovations to enhance operations.
• Provide input on necessary upgrades or modifications to improve electrical system reliability and energy efficiency.
