Required Maintenance Technician - Salem

We are on the hunt for a talented and reliable maintenance technician to join our maintenance department. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures. & & & & & & & & Qualification: BE in ECE, EEE, ME & & & & & & & & Male only & & & & & & & & Age below 28 & & & & & & & & Food and accommodation will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preventive Maintenance:
   • Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, tools, and facility systems.
   • Lubricate, clean, and service equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity.
   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
2. Repairs and Troubleshooting:
   • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in production or building equipment.
   • Use hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to identify and resolve faults.
   • Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
3. Equipment and System Maintenance:
   • Maintain and repair conveyor systems, motors, pumps, compressors, HVAC systems, and other machinery.
   • Replace defective parts and components as necessary, ensuring the safe operation of all equipment.
   • Calibrate and adjust mechanical and electrical systems for optimal operation.
4. Facility Upkeep:
   • Carry out routine checks and repairs on building structures, lighting systems, doors, windows, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
   • Assist with painting, flooring, drywall, and other basic facility upgrades or repairs.
   • Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and workshops.
5. Safety and Compliance:
   • Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA).
   • Conduct safety inspections and assist in maintaining workplace safety programs.
   • Report hazards, unsafe practices, or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors.
6. Inventory and Documentation:
   • Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
   • Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment manuals.
   • Provide input on purchasing and inventory levels of parts and maintenance supplies.
7. Support for Projects and Installations:
   • Assist in the setup, installation, or relocation of new equipment or machinery.
   • Support engineering and production teams during facility modifications or system upgrades.
   • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
