Job Description

Responsible for all railway product manufacturing functions.
Shall be responsible for maintaining all instruments records.
Preparation of test reports.
Preparation of work report.
Day to day check quality of product, rubber and steel make reports.
Preparation of Daily & Monthly Report.
responsible for Inspection of material .

& Required Skills:

Should have computer Knowledge
Good listening, presentation and decision making skills

Key Responsibilities:

Production Process Optimization:
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities.
- Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
- Evaluate and select tools, equipment, and technologies that enhance production capabilities.
Quality Control and Assurance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to monitor product consistency and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure that products meet customer and regulatory quality standards, including ISO, Six Sigma, or other relevant standards.
- Coordinate with quality inspectors and production staff to ensure that quality checks are consistently performed and documented.
- Perform internal audits and support external audits by regulatory bodies or clients.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production processes, quality inspections, and corrective actions.
- Prepare production and quality performance reports, identifying key trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
New Product Introduction (NPI):
- Support the introduction of new products by coordinating with design and development teams to ensure manufacturability and quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential production or quality issues.
- Lead or assist in the validation of production processes and testing of prototypes or first articles.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that production operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness among production staff.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements where necessary.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency gains, and quality enhancements across the production line.
