Required Delivery Executive - Hyderabad

Job Summary:

A Delivery Executive is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods and products to customers. This role requires strong customer service skills, a good driving record, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading goods. Delivery Executives often represent the company directly to customers, making it essential to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor. They are key players in the final stages of the delivery process, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth service delivery. The role demands a reliable, punctual individual who is capable of managing time efficiently, handling small to medium-sized packages, and working independently while following delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Loading and Unloading Deliveries:

• Ensure products are loaded onto the vehicle carefully, ensuring they are secure and properly arranged to avoid damage during transit.
• Unload items at customer locations and ensure delivery is completed in a safe, secure, and efficient manner.
• Verify the correct product is delivered to the correct customer, checking items and quantities against delivery documentation.

2. Delivery and Route Management:

• Follow the designated route to ensure timely deliveries.
• Navigate to various locations using GPS systems or traditional maps, depending on company protocols.
• Plan the most efficient route to save time and fuel, considering potential traffic, road conditions, and time-sensitive deliveries.
• Make deliveries within specified time frames, ensuring punctuality and efficiency.

3. Customer Interaction:

• Maintain a positive, professional, and friendly attitude while interacting with customers.
• Confirm customer details (name, address, contact information) before delivering items.
• Handle any customer inquiries about products or delivery details politely and professionally.
• Address customer complaints or concerns and escalate issues to supervisors or customer service if necessary.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

• Collect signatures, feedback, or other forms of acknowledgment for delivery completion.
• Ensure all paperwork, including invoices and delivery logs, is completed accurately.
• Report any delivery delays, discrepancies, or issues (e.g., missing or damaged items) immediately to the supervisor.
• Keep accurate logs of deliveries, including time, customer details, and the condition of the product upon delivery.

5. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:

• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary items (e.g., tools, fuel, safety equipment).
• Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure safety, including tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall vehicle condition.
• Follow road safety regulations, wear seat belts, and adhere to all local traffic laws to ensure personal and public safety.
• Maintain compliance with company policies regarding vehicle use, including fuel efficiency and vehicle cleaning schedules.
