Required Field Service - Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct installation and setup of various laboratory and analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, FTIR, pH meters, balances, incubators, environmental chambers, and others.
• Perform system checks, software configurations, and functional testing to ensure equipment is fully operational after installation.
• Train end-users on basic instrument operation, handling, and routine maintenance procedures.

• Perform periodic calibrations of instruments using certified standards and tools, ensuring measurement accuracy and compliance with customer protocols.
• Complete calibration documentation as per customer or audit requirements, including calibration certificates and traceability records.
• Support validation and qualification processes such as IQ, OQ, and PQ as required by the client, especially in regulated environments.

• Execute scheduled AMC and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, ensuring quick turnaround with minimal disruption to client operations.
• Replace worn or faulty parts using technical documentation, schematics, and OEM support when necessary.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance at the customer site or remotely when applicable.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to service calls and ensure accurate follow-up and closure of issues.

• Maintain detailed service records including job sheets, calibration certificates, and maintenance checklists.
• Submit service reports, expense claims, and time logs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain asset tracking of instruments under AMC or service contracts.

• Follow all safety procedures while working on-site and ensure instruments are calibrated and maintained according to industry standards and SOPs.
• Ensure tools, calibrators, and equipment used in service activities are themselves calibrated and compliant.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment at client facilities.

• Coordinate with internal teams including service coordinators, logistics, and spares departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Liaise with OEMs and technical support teams when encountering complex issues beyond local troubleshooting capabilities.
• Provide regular feedback to service managers about recurring problems, customer feedback, and process improvement opportunities.
