Job Description
Make calls to existing and potential donors to inform them about ongoing campaigns, fundraising drives, and specific projects. Encourage regular and one-time donations for various causes supported by the NGO. Engage with individuals interested in volunteering and explain the various ways they can contribute to the NGO s work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound Calling:
    • Make outbound calls to individuals from existing or potential donor databases.
    • Explain the NGO s mission, current campaigns, and how donations make a difference.
    • Persuade individuals to support the cause through monetary contributions.
  2. Donor Engagement:
    • Build a rapport with potential donors during calls, focusing on trust and transparency.
    • Answer donor queries regarding the organization s activities, fund utilization, and impact.
    • Handle objections or doubts positively and encourage involvement through donations.
  3. Follow-up Communication:
    • Follow up with interested donors via scheduled calls, SMS, or emails.
    • Send digital brochures, campaign details, and payment links when required.
    • Remind donors of recurring contributions and renewals.
  4. Fundraising Targets:
    • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly fundraising targets set by the organization.
    • Maintain a minimum number of productive calls per day.
    • Report conversion rates, successful donations, and feedback to the team leader.
  5. Database Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, call status, and follow-up dates in the CRM system or Excel sheets.
    • Ensure data confidentiality and adhere to the organization s privacy policies.
  6. Coordination and Reporting:
    • Collaborate with other telecallers, field fundraisers, and campaign teams.
    • Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and feedback discussions.
    • Share daily reports of calls made, pledges secured, and challenges faced.
  7. Communication Quality:
    • Maintain a polite, persuasive, and respectful tone at all times.
    • Ensure all conversations reflect the values and credibility of the organization.
    • Avoid pressure tactics and promote ethical fundraising practices.
  8. Donor Retention Support:
    • Call existing or previous donors for renewals, additional support, or feedback.
    • Update them on the progress and impact of the projects they have supported.
