Required Accounts Officer - Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and other financial records as per accounting principles.
• Ensure entries are accurate, up-to-date, and reconciled with supporting documents.

2. Bank & Cash Management

• Handle bank reconciliation and petty cash transactions.
• Monitor daily cash flow and ensure funds are available for operations.
• Process and reconcile payments, receipts, and bank statements regularly.

3. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B, GSTR-9).
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and filing of returns.
• Assist in audit preparation and ensure timely statutory compliance (Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.).

4. Invoice & Payment Management

• Prepare sales and purchase invoices with appropriate tax entries.
• Track receivables and payables; follow up on outstanding invoices and make timely payments.
• Verify vendor bills and ensure payment authorization and compliance with company policies.

5. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Generate reports such as profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, etc.
• Provide financial data for management decision-making and budgeting processes.

6. Inter-Branch & Account Reconciliation

• Perform inter-branch and ledger reconciliations regularly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Ensure that transactions between departments or branches are accurately recorded and balanced.
