DAY CARE TEACHER

Curriculum Development and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early childhood development.&

Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages learning and play.&

Childcare and Supervision: Provide basic care for children, including feeding, toileting, and dressing, and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.&

Observation and Assessment: Observe and assess children 's individual progress and development, identifying any areas of concern or need.&

Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about their child 's progress and development, and collaborate with other staff members to support the children 's learning and development.&

Behavior Management: Establish and enforce classroom rules, addressing behavioral issues in a positive and supportive manner.&

Safety and Health: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and procedures, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.&

Parent Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about their child 's progress.&

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: At least a High School diploma or equivalent, with an Associate 's or Bachelor 's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.&

Experience: Previous experience working with young children in a day care or preschool setting is highly desirable.&

First Aid and CPR Certification: Certification in First Aid and CPR is often required.&

Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.&

Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and manage classroom activities and materials.&

Patience and Empathy: A patient, understanding, and caring approach to working with young children.&

Ability to work with Diverse Populations: Sensitivity and respect for children from different backgrounds and cultures.
