General Manager - Thane

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations and Facility Management:

• Oversee daily administrative and operational activities of the hospital.
• Ensure all departments such as front office, housekeeping, security, billing, and IT function seamlessly.
• Supervise hospital infrastructure, maintenance, biomedical equipment, and vendor management.
• Monitor housekeeping, hygiene, biomedical waste disposal, and fire safety protocols.

2. Patient Experience and Service Quality:

• Implement and monitor systems to ensure superior patient service delivery and minimal wait times.
• Resolve escalated patient grievances and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Ensure patient registration, billing, discharge, and records systems are accurate and efficient.
• Work with quality teams to achieve and maintain NABH, JCI, or ISO certifications.

3. Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Develop strategic plans for hospital growth, patient volume increase, and new service lines.
• Identify areas for revenue optimization and operational cost reduction.
• Collaborate with senior management and board members to meet institutional goals.
• Initiate partnerships with other hospitals, corporates, insurance providers, and TPAs.

4. Financial Oversight:

• Supervise budgeting, financial planning, and cost control in collaboration with the finance department.
• Monitor departmental expenditures and ensure financial accountability.
• Track KPIs such as average revenue per bed, occupancy rate, patient turnaround time, and billing efficiency.
• Work on pricing strategies, reimbursement, and government healthcare scheme participation.

5. Human Resource Management:

• Oversee recruitment, training, and evaluation of administrative and support staff.
• Ensure proper deployment, scheduling, and attendance management of personnel.
• Support HR policies related to staff welfare, compliance, and professional development.
• Facilitate training programs for non-clinical staff on customer service, safety, and hospital protocols.
