Production manager injection molding company Experience: 10 to 15+ Years overall work experience in Injection Molding Plant. Approx 5years worked as Operator or Team Supervisor. 1-3+ Years experience as Operations Supervisor. Education: BE / M.E. / M.Tech (Plastics Engineering/Plastics Technology) or higher. Responsibilities: Heading the overall manufacturing operations- Production, Quality, Maintenance & Stores. Implementation of systems (Related to Quality Assurance, Quality Control & Productivity). Production Planning as per incoming orders. Enabling efficient work of operators. Ensuring best practices during mold storage and handling. Ensuring best practices during inspection of parts, assembly, and material handling. Organizing the plant and initiating 5S activities and sustaining it. Ensuring all machines and molds are run optimally and safely. Ensuring that weekly maintenance activities of machinery are completed. Ensuring in case of breakdowns, maintenance provider is contacted and work is initiated. Generating requirement note for Manpower and Facilities. Implementing waste reduction measures and optimization measures. Ensure correct communication of new systems and implementations as well as other day to day communications to all members. Tracking the status of newly implemented measures. Implementing data collection measures to track performance and performance reporting Troubleshooting of plant and production issues by responding quickly.
