Data Entry Operator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Input & Accuracy:

• Enter customer, vendor, product, financial, or employee data from source documents into prescribed systems, databases, or software with a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure all data entries are complete, correct, and in the required format as per company policies.

2. Data Verification & Review:

• Cross-check data with source documents for verification.
• Review, update, and correct entered data where necessary.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or missing information promptly.

3. Database Management & Filing:

• Maintain and organize records in physical and digital formats for easy retrieval.
• Create and manage spreadsheets, reports, and logs for data tracking and updates.
• Store data safely and in compliance with company guidelines and data protection laws.

4. Coordination & Reporting:

• Collaborate with supervisors, team members, and other departments to gather and verify required data.
• Prepare periodic data entry reports highlighting daily activity, backlogs, and discrepancies.
• Assist in generating reports for audits, quality checks, and internal reviews.

5. System & Software Usage:

• Operate standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, printers, and data capture tools.
• Use business software platforms like MS Excel, MS Word, Google Sheets, or enterprise tools such as ERP, CRM, or HRMS systems.

6. Confidentiality & Compliance:

• Adhere to confidentiality rules and protect sensitive data, such as financial information or personal records.
• Follow data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and company security policies.
