Required Career Counsellor - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Career Counselling & Student Advisory:

• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in person or virtually) with students and working professionals to understand their interests, qualifications, strengths, and goals.
• Provide guidance on career paths, competitive exams, skill development, and higher education options in India and abroad.
• Interpret psychometric test results and other assessments to help students make informed choices.
• Stay updated with trends in job markets, educational pathways, and skill-based careers.

2. Course Promotion & Sales Conversion:

• Match students career goals with appropriate educational programs or courses offered by the company.
• Explain course features, curriculum, fees, learning outcomes, and career benefits.
• Convert counselling leads into enrollments by following up diligently and addressing objections or queries.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and counselling quotas.

3. Relationship Building & Support:

• Build strong rapport with students, parents, and academic professionals.
• Provide continuous support and mentorship throughout the student s journey, including pre- and post-enrollment stages.
• Handle queries via phone, email, chat, or walk-ins in a timely and courteous manner.
• Coordinate with academic and operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and student satisfaction.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of counselling sessions, feedback, and follow-ups in the CRM or student management system.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on counselling activity, sales pipeline, and conversion ratios.
• Assist in creating FAQs, counselling scripts, or other student-support materials.

5. Event Participation & Outreach:

• Represent the organization at education fairs, webinars, school/college seminars, or career workshops.
• Conduct online and offline career awareness sessions and webinars to attract prospective students.
• Partner with institutions, educators, and influencers to expand referral networks and lead generation.
