Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Manager to spearhead our business growth in the US and European markets. This role is crucial for expanding our client base and driving revenue through the sale of our key IT services. A strong background in IT service sales, particularly with open-source and cloud-native technologies, is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across time zones and possess a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed assigned quantitative and qualitative sales targets for each period.
Identify and prospect potential clients in the US and European regions who can benefit from our IT services.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closing.
Develop and implement a scalable sales process, ensuring adherence by the sales team.
Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor Sales Executives, building a high-performing team.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management reports to the Executive Board.
Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints related to sales and service.
Act as a customer advocate, ensuring their needs are met.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support and assistance.
Represent the company at marketing events such as conferences and trade shows.
Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to achieve company objectives.
Experience and Qualifications:
5 years of sales experience in IT Services Sales.
Must: Prior knowledge of open-source and cloud-native technologies.
Must: Experience selling outsourced software services to clients in the US and Europe.
Comfortable working flexible hours to accommodate overlapping time zones.
Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding successful sales executives.
Experience presenting to prospects and customers at all stages of the deal cycle.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
Experience with a proven sales methodology, including pipeline management, forecasting, and prospecting.
Strong leadership qualities and experience managing sales teams.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Plus: Familiarity with digital marketing principles.
