Pickup And Delivery Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pickup and Delivery:

• Collect packages or goods from predefined pickup points (e.g., stores, warehouses, customers).
• Deliver items to designated addresses within the assigned territory or route.
• Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed on schedule and recorded accurately.
• Follow the safest and most efficient delivery routes using GPS or route optimization tools.

2. Documentation and Proof of Delivery:

• Obtain proper signatures, OTPs (One-Time Passwords), or digital confirmation from recipients to confirm successful deliveries.
• Collect payment for cash-on-delivery (COD) orders when applicable.
• Maintain accurate logs of pickups, deliveries, payment collections, and returns.
• Complete and submit daily delivery reports or records.

3. Customer Service:

• Maintain a friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor with all customers.
• Provide basic information or assistance when delivering items.
• Handle minor customer issues on the spot or escalate them to the supervisor when needed.

4. Handling of Goods:

• Ensure all items are handled with care during pickup, transport, and delivery.
• Use proper techniques and safety measures when lifting or moving heavy or fragile items.
• Confirm the quantity and condition of goods before leaving the pickup location.

5. Safety and Maintenance:

• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Perform basic daily checks of the delivery vehicle or bike to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any issues, accidents, or delays immediately to the concerned supervisor.
• Keep the delivery vehicle or bike clean and organized at all times.
