Software Trainee Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training and Learning

• Participate actively in technical training programs conducted by the company or team.
• Learn programming languages, tools, frameworks, and development environments relevant to ongoing projects.
• Understand software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

2. Software Development Support

• Assist in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the supervision of senior developers.
• Contribute to the development of web-based or desktop applications, APIs, or mobile apps as required.
• Work on small modules or components within a larger application.

3. Testing and Debugging

• Support the testing team by writing unit test cases and assisting in integration testing.
• Identify, report, and fix basic bugs or issues in the code.
• Use debugging tools to find and resolve issues in application logic or performance.

4. Documentation

• Maintain technical documentation for code, features, and user manuals.
• Document learning outcomes and tasks completed during the training phase.
• Assist in preparing project reports or documentation for internal use or client presentations.

5. Collaboration and Communication

• Attend daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with team members, including developers, testers, UI/UX designers, and project managers.
• Communicate effectively regarding task progress, challenges, and suggestions for improvement.

6. Version Control and Tools

• Learn and use version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Work within integrated development environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, IntelliJ, or others.
• Get familiar with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms if part of the training curriculum.
