Required Accountant - Noida

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Record journal entries, post debits and credits, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is readily available when needed.

2. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Compile and analyze financial information to assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Generate reports to support internal and external audits, and provide documentation as requested.

3. Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

• Calculate, prepare, and file tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
• Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Work with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits or inspections.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor expenditures against budgets and report any significant variances.
• Provide financial insights and projections to support business planning and strategic decisions.

5. Bank and Cash Management:

• Reconcile bank statements regularly and maintain records of all cash and bank transactions.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company maintains adequate liquidity.
• Manage petty cash and verify all cash transactions with appropriate documentation.

6. Internal Controls and Risk Management:

• Develop and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or fraud in financial documentation and transactions.
• Ensure all financial processes are performed in line with company policies and procedures.

7. Payroll and Employee Reimbursements:

• Assist in the processing of payroll and ensure accuracy in salary calculations, tax deductions, and other statutory obligations.
• Verify and process employee reimbursement claims in accordance with company policy.

8. Inventory and Asset Management:
